No Maintenance Jungle

Jungles certainly have their own charm ! I do feel that fish particularly like it too. THe pic certainly looks great to my eyes. I have found it hard to maintain a constant jungle look though. EVery tank needs to go through cycles of cutting/replanting etc. Enjoy it while you have it !!!! I usually find I also really like the short, trimmed look straight after a big maintenance session, if it has been rather jungle-like beforehand.

First off that tank is fantastic looking. Second its funny to me you call that a jungle tank. I would not consider this a jungle tank. Jungle tanks to me are easy stems, val and dwarf sag everywhere intermixed and basically plant mass chaos. Not beautiful high tech stems and carpet that at most look a little less manicured than a typical Dutch or garden scape.

thats a Name I hadn't come across yet ( Less manicured Garden scape) , thank you , will be using this instead of jungle from now on & now I do want a jungle scape :) so 5th tank on it's way soon I guess

Key with a jungle is its "messy". Instead of dividing plants into distinct groups, there is more blending between them. More "wild" in that way.
